Description |
Overview of Role Probabilistic safety assessment engineer sought to join Safety team in reactor support. To support assessment and modelling of faults and hazards in British Energy reactor safety cases.
Key Responsibilities Supporting more senior engineers in developing, testing and reporting PSA models to the clients.
Essential Qualifications Degree (or equivalent) in physics, mathematics or engineering plus experience of probabilistic modelling of hazards.
Desirable Qualifications Knowledge and experience of British Energy systems. Knowledge of Risk Spectrum modelling software.
Experience Required Some experience of modelling fault or hazard trees in hazardous environments, on complex systems.
