Description |
We are working with a major provider of FPSO services to the oil & gas industry. They are a part of a large oil & gas operating company and are looking to expand their Aberdeen-based expertise by adding an Integrity Management Engineer to their existing team.
Role: Assisting in the maintenance and continual development of the integrity management processes for the worldwide FPSO fleet. The Integrity Management Engineer reports to the Integrity Management Superintendent.
Areas of Responsibility: Management of Safety Critical Elements and Verification Scheme Management of Class & Verification Surveys Providing advice on integrity and related issues
Essential Tasks: Maintain SCEs and Verifications Schemes for all operated units. Co-ordinate Class and Verification Surveys Assist in the co-ordination of ongoing planned and ad-hoc inspections of pressure containing plant and equipment and structures
The ideal applicant will have: Have an Engineering or Naval Architecture Degree Be a Chartered Engineer Have experience of ship repair/building, preferably tankers. Have knowledge of NDE techniques & in-service inspection of process pressure systems. Have auditing skills. Knowledge of subsea systems & relevant UK standards/legislation. 5 year post graduate experience in ship building, petrochemical or similar industries (e.g. nuclear) Auditing skills in accordance with ISO9001:2008
